Walkin', workin', and gawkin'

Hi all-

I want to tell you more about our roadtrip. First, we spent some time in Delta, CO. I am sure you read my previous blog entry about the doggies. What else did I do in Delta, you say?

Well, I can pretty much sum it up in three words..... I walked, worked, and gawked.

First, the walking. I had fun walking from my Ma to my Aunt:

I could even stop midway and stand still. Very exciting!

And of course I took some strolls around the backyard with Mom.

Even at this young age I like to help whenever I can. One day, before we went inside for the night, we had to bring the swing cushions in so they didn't get wet. I didn't want my Auntie Barb to do it by herself (and my Dad was being lazy and not offering to help) so I pitched in.

Hard work!

Whew! The yard is really loooooonnngggggggggggg.....

Now for the gawking part. One day after having a very yummy lunch in Montrose (we visited Auntie Barb during work), I went with Mom and Dad to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Whoa! What a sight!

I even walked a little to the lookouts.

It was so pretty!

Well -- have a wonderful day! I think I am going to go play now.

Love,
Calvin

Wow Calvin:
You sure were a busy little boy in Delta. Your aunt Barbara really put you to work hauling all those cushions. Sure looks like you had fun though. See you soon.
